This is huge deal for the area because what they faced in 2013. I am going to see if I can talk with members of Avarice who are still active with heavy metal to cut a score based on the story from what happened in Diamond, Illlinois, back in 1883. I am planning to take a trip to the Historical Society in Grundy county with the pdf in their hand and for their eyes only for right now until the introduction is ready, I want to thank Coal City Public Library District for entrusting me with the story from the newspaper from the era and I am trying to find the identity of that reporter or reporters so I can property attribute them.
Those of you who are from the area and read this from their website this is the first time using 21st centry technology to have it looking like it was from 1883 or the fonts from the era using typesetting technology that only a word processor can give as the blog also can give this effect too. This weird little village houses a heavy metal band as I will feature them on Reverbnation.com. The writer of that news story has an eerie resemblance to Edgar Allan Poe but I don't think Poe lived into the 1880s as this one piece I am guessing they were about the age of Poe when it was written as I had read this with the referrence department -- I wonder if the Poe Museum should read this thing to see Poe's influence on the article. It is weird when you're a horror writer and this story is overlooked as my cousin got on me for ignoring it as this well when I saw the historicial marker I didn't think much of it until recently.
"You're a horror author but you haven't read into this as you should have as we have the mural on the wall over the computers." the reference department asked me as I was reading over this for the first time. That is the first time I am reading of this and the whole thing is intriging in the wake of the 2013 and 2015 tornado outbreaks. I remember how close to one there was in 1998 just before leaving for Iowa and here's the one talking about the EF-2. I am putting this behind a cut tag as the pizza place I normally eat at helped with the tornado in feeding the cleanup. This when you see the story from the 1883 disaster as I had did some commentary speaking about the article with a photo from the modern era showing how much the area changed and if you were to do a documentary about the disaster you would have to do an animated film just to capture the essence of the period.
The house with the photograph included would had shown some of the modern disaster that unfolded in history. This would been the 2015 tornado as I was reading about this one I had been posting coverage from it on my pinterest I had during the era. This guy well I don't know to call him brave or looking for a death wish because I remember the damage that tornado left near my area too. That was when I was working on the anthology that I was working on and just out of the hospital for an esophageal stricture. So you have to imagine when I started the anthology I was working on and here I am with 198 pages in the body of the book alone and just waiting for the introduction. This area has it's own histories separte from Chicago as I came to realize and reading up on the residents in the area as one can find one of them here. This is from the Wikipedia page though I am not allowed to edit anything on there no matter how factual it is. But to speak of the story that I get to publish you have to look into the histroy of the area and hoping I don't do too much with the edits but just enough where it looks good in print. I want to make sure this looks good before I submit this for the masses for their approval. Publishing what I get to publish I hope I don't embarrass this small village because this is their history I am entrusted with. This is the footage from the tornado heading down Coal City and Mazon if you want to see this.
